Beware of False and Misleading Emails Alleging a 3.8% Tax on Home Sales

Over the last year, false emails have been circulating that make various misleading claims about a 3.8% tax on all home sales that was allegedly included in the federal health care reform legislation. Thankfully, these emails are absolutely false and there is no 3.8% tax in the health care reform bill that will be imposed on all real estate transactions.
